Feature on Wedding Chicks Coming Springs 2021!
I’m so excited to share a sneak peak of this beautiful, Dutch Still Life Editorial project, which will be featured on Wedding Chicks this spring! This beautiful editorial concept was created by planner, Emma Clark of Moss & Maeve, and photographer, Sarah Porter Photography. Cat Schultz of Beautifully Noted designed gorgeous paper goods, and styling details. Beautiful rentals and linens were provided by Hazel and Grove and Soiree Linen. The cake featured was provided by The Dessert Stand, custom candles were provided by Chandlerie, bridal gown provided by The Bridal Collection, and hair and makeup provided by KC McIntosh. This beautiful, interpretive collaboration was hosted in the newly opened Clay Venues in Colorado Springs.
I love working with Beautifully Noted, not only for her gorgeous paper products for also for her attention to detail and styling skills. I always learn from Cat when we collaborate, and this project was a perfect example of that.
Moss and Maeve envisioned place setting filled with floral collections. It was an entirely new concept for me, and I was excited to collaborate on the idea! Gorgeous plates, flatware, and glasses framed the lush, petal-filled blooms, and although not edible, looked amazingly appetizing.

Our beautiful models showcased a stunning, chic and sophisticated look. This editorial had a more modern edge to it, and although natural elements were incorporated in the flowers, the overall aesthetic was simply perfect for a modern space such as Clay Venues.

The floral palette was widely determined by the detail inspiration. The beautiful shoes, small accessories, and gorgeous candles all contributed to the floral colors. One of my most favorite aspects of this shoot was the impact of contrasting colors between the vibrant blooms and the clean, minimalist, and lightly colored table setting. We wanted the blooms to pack a punch, and one of the best ways to accomplish this is to focus on contrasting colors. In this case, we were very pleased with the results!
